Sketches 2

Some of these are from last year, most from this year. I used the scanner at my school's library to throw these drawings together (very unprofessionally, might I note) and they have finally seen daylight. I have a lot of drawings I really want to post, but I think I'll let them be a line for some color studies.

I really want to be a better artist. It scares me to think in just 4 short years, I'll be on my own, and my skills are all that will be there to support me!

I'm learning what my weaknesses are: My discipline is horrible. I don't make finished pieces, which is something I've wined about forever. Especially when I'm sketching, I'm not very clean. I waste a lot of lead doing unneeded lines just because I'm impatient. I could do my drawings in half the time if I would just concentrate and plan ahead!

Pay attention to your methods of drawing. Map and plot, then get to details. Structure first!
